me!:D I've started with oracle (there is free e book download as well!;) check it here;

& my Tarot deck in progress here;

https://sites.google.com/view/myluckycard/chakra-t

imo best to read this 1st;

creating your deck require theory preparation & actual work!;D

1) plan your topic & symbols you wish to include in each card & design aspect card layout font borders etc

you'll save yourself if you start taking notes & writing your ideas & sketches asap!;D

& before you start painting decide your card size; Standard Tarot, or smaller i'e poker/bridge or Larger?;D

& download matching template from gamecrafter(imo these are standard but make playingcards is also ok!;D

then decide your working medium;

traditional aka pen paper etc (in this case you need to keep proportions matching to your printer files i'e for Tarot size its 3;5 keep in mind to keep important art part far from edges!;) or Digital (Note you will had to provide digital files for print!:)

start with major arcana or court cards whatever you feel like easier to work with?;)

& here is list of keywords & basic symbols for each card that may help your inspiration!;D

plan your working hours each day or set your goal to work at least on 1 card each week?;)

2) Start Now!;D

do let me know of you need help with anything I'm pro selfpublisher by now & happy to help with tips & tech & all!xD lol

All Best!

So have I - initially to learn from the process, but....

http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/nameless-tarot/

I learned a great deal while doing it - and the cards sort of happened one at a time, depending on what I had seen lately.

It does get you seeing tarot everywhere.

I am about to self publish my Tarot deck on TGC, i'm now just adding the final text to the LWB before i get started.

Does anyone know what the 325 gms card stock is like since the up grade on TGC?

one card per week is a good rate! i'm hoping to complete my deck at this rate and be done by the end of 2021, i started this january.

i love the vibrant colors in your deck!

mine is quite colorful too, so far -

i will however redo and rework a few of the cards, i wanna work in aquarelle for some more dynamics and texture in there 🙂 i love working in traditional media, but it is for sure more work and more time consuming 🙂

i will be following your links to printing!

do let us know if any of the printing companies have any major problems to them, so we know which ones to avoid ^^

Hi, I just finished my tarot deck, it took me almost 4 months to finish, it is based on Rider Waite tarot with some personal touch and other influences. Take a look and if you can give me your feedback is most welcome. Thanks
