How would you interpret this 6 of wands in a relationship context as an outcome?

I feel the man is alone, picking up these sticks being handed over to him, he is getting the support but he doesn't seem very happy. It feels like he is getting a grip of the situation. But he does have garland around his body..but should he not be celebrating? It doesn't look like he is enjoying it or is being egoistic. Is he just being content? And the card only shows him, what about the partner?

Unlike the RWS, which is about recognition and success, this one seems a bit tricky to me.

I really like this card! What deck is it? As for him not looking happy... I feel like 6 of Wands doesn't necessarily look like they are happy or celebrating. I generally feel the expression of the 6 of Wands is stoic, while their posture is what portrays their pride and confidence. In the card that is shown above, I definitely get a sense of confidence.

In terms of a relationship reading, maybe this card is suggesting that the person will have self-confidence? It doesn't necessarily mean that he will be alone, it just means that he will maintain his identity and self-worth. Without knowing the other cards in the spread or the actual question, it's hard for me to think of what else this might mean. It could definitely be a really positive thing because in so many relationships, people can get swept away by their partner and lose a sense of their own identity. Also, it could be possible that this partner could be so supportive or encouraging that this person is able to succeed and find a greater sense or self-worth because of the relationship. I'm just spitballing ideas because without seeing other cards, it's hard to interpret the context.

I understand. Honestly, this is not from a spread for me to share. This is my exercise to to understand this deck better. A lot of the cards are very different from RWS and often I miss the symbols. Also the handbook isn't much detailed.

Deck Name: Tarot for Everyday Life By Sami Main Book + Tarot Card Set (Urban Decay).

I agree with you on the stoic aspect, and it does seem that he is moving forward with confidence. Maybe proud of his association or choice. There is support definitely but it does get me to the question of having garland around his neck, maybe a trophy wife or husband?

Edit: What about the compatibility aspect in the relationship? Good or just content? I'm really trying to understand each card in as much depth as possible.

Since I am not familiar with this deck, I will simply go on my impressions of the card. You are looking for the signs of "compatibility" and an "outcome" of a relationship reading,

Since the subject (I'll call him/her "S") is looking/moving to the left, I associate the left with the "past" not the future, walking away, retreating, perhaps mentally. S appears unhappy --is it all those sticks (thoughts, energy, sex) being thrust at S from both front and back? It looks to me that S has had enough, really doesn't want to handle anymore than he/she is already carrying., but all the same, more is being forced upon S.  I don't see "incompatibility," per se, as S enjoys the adoration already bestowed (the garlands), but more like the other person/people are coming on too strong now and need(s) to give S a little space,

Interesting take @53rdspirit somehow I also feel that wands to be are more about energy, sex etc. Love, compatibility is something I associate more with cups suit. But just want to check everyones pov. It's interesting how you see it walking away. Maybe living in the past. Thank you!

thanks for posting this @ashwsh ooh I feel this card is challenging my perceptions! Whilst we have to becareful that the RWS version doesn't always mean victory and I have seen some people write about the negative aspects of the card, that he is arrogant. strutting in that horse with the biggest ego!

6's in numerology are about adjustment, if you look at the 6's in the suits, they are all about problem solving ultimately. But the unhappiness of this picture throws me a lot. What can this guy do with the broken wands? How does he pick up the pieces? In the reversed RWS version of this card, the guy could have had a fall from grace or embarrassing situation, like he has fallen off his horse, it's meaning I always think is to get back on that horse again! I see that as a theme here. Maybe in the past he was hurt my love and now he has to fix those Wands with some string or glue or tape and give love and relationships a second chance. As an outcome to a relationship he has to let go of what happened in the past and past pain and give relationships a chance again! This could be showing they are getting into relationships too early, they need to heal their heart but also could be saying that it's time to get back into the love game again. They have to be optimistic and give this person everything, if you are going into it thinking all your Wands will be snapped again, there is no point trying.

If he wants to get into a relationship with this person, he has to believe in it, this could be the relationship for life and to think positively or he needs to do some more healing on his heart and not get involved right now. You've got to give it your all, it's a new phase with this person, you never know what might happen if both sides want this 🙂

Thank @DanielJUK I do agree with the gloomy side of the card. Moment I saw it, it didn't give me positive feeling. Thank you for noticing the finer nuances like broken wands. It really makes sense. He needs make amends with his past to move forward. It also works as a great warning card and advice to get over the old relationships before moving ahead.
